Pomifera, a skincare and beauty direct selling company running on ByDesign, sends its email, SMS and MMS to customers and distributors through ZipLingo. Back in 2021, conversion tracking showed its email program returning 32.5x. In 2026 Pomifera wanted a stricter answer.
CHALLENGE
Click-based ROI is easy to overstate. A customer who clicks a campaign and buys something unrelated a week later shouldn't count the same as one who buys the product the campaign was about. Pomifera wanted a number it could plan budget on, not just a big one.
WHAT CHANGED
ZipLingo's Campaign Insights reads orders straight from ByDesign and matches each one back to the campaign that drove it. No tagging, no exports. It reports in tiers, and the strictest tier only credits orders that match the products a campaign promoted.
RESULTS: 9 SEPTEMBER TO 14 OCTOBER 2026
- 1,028 product-matched orders traced back to specific campaigns.
- $164,979 in product-matched revenue.
- 8.7x return on messaging spend, counting only product-matched orders.
- 24.1x ($457,933) when every attributed order is counted.
WHY IT MATTERS
The conservative number is the one Pomifera can defend in a budget meeting, and it still shows every messaging dollar coming back more than eight times. Campaign Insights also shows which campaigns and products drove those orders, so the next campaign starts from what worked.
