Jordan Essentials follows a "Green by 15" initiative, where consultants are encouraged to meet their monthly sales target by the 15th of the month. Achieving this goal allows consultants to maintain their rank, earn bonuses, and gain recognition within the company. 

The company needed an efficient way to keep consultants focused on their sales progress and encourage them to take timely action, without adding pressure or overwhelming them with constant reminders.

SOLUTION

After assessing Jordan Essentials' challenge, the Ziplingo client success team crafted a targeted campaign for consultants needing a boost in focus or momentum to reach their goals. Using Ziplingo’s data segmentation tools, Jordan Essentials could precisely identify which consultants would benefit most from these timely reminders. SMS was chosen as the communication channel, given its remarkable effectiveness—98% of SMS messages are read within minutes—ensuring key messages were quickly seen and acted upon.

STRATEGY

Jordan Essentials launched their targeted text messaging campaign to remind consultants of the “Green by 15” goal. The text reminders were sent in two phases:

Mid-Month Motivation: On the 10th of each month, consultants received a text reminder encouraging them to review their sales progress. This message included motivational tips, updates on current promotions, and a reminder of the benefits of reaching Green by 15.

Final Push: On the 13th and 14th of each month, consultants received follow-up texts with a link to their personalized sales dashboard, providing real-time visibility into their current progress. These reminders urged consultants to make any final sales pushes, book additional parties, or reach out to potential customers to hit their targets.

RESULTS

Within three months of introducing the text reminder system for the “Green by 15” initiative, Jordan Essentials saw a marked improvement in consultant performance:

  1. Higher Achievement of Sales Goals: The number of consultants who reached their “Green by 15” target increased by 25%. Consultants appreciated the timely reminders and felt more motivated to take action earlier in the month, avoiding last-minute rushes.
  2. Improved Consultant Focus: Consultants reported feeling more focused and in control of their sales targets. The mid-month reminder helped them stay on track without feeling overwhelmed, while the final push messages gave them the motivation needed to close out any remaining sales.
